    Hands down #1:
Your Money or Your life by Joe Dominguez & Vicki Robin

Also, any of the Motley Fool personal finance books are excellent. They’re clear, concise, and easy to understand.
    Motley Fool Investment Guide
Motley Fool Investment Guide For Teens (helped me a lot when I was younger, although still very useful for non-Teens).

Get a subscription to either Money Magazine or Kiplingers.

If you’re an Aussie (and even if you’re not) then I’d recommend “The Barefoot Investor” by Scott Pape. It’s written for people in their 20s and 30s to learn how to sort out their finances. It is my favourite book of all time. I used to own 3 copies, so I could lend them to friends. It is truly awesome.

Scott Pape actually has a finance column on Yahoo!7, the Australian Yahoo site.

    Best wishes
