Students are bogged down by FCAT and many different subjects, but is there a lack of financial literacy education?

Yes … from the young age even, one should know to handle subjects like “personal finance”.
    It should be taught.

Yes! I definitely think more should be taught along the lines of financial planning and retirement, as well as how to handle personal finances. I think more should be taught about the consequences of using all those credit cards that college students receive offers for, as well as how much money should be saved for retirement. I had personal finance in college, but I think that it should be touched even earlier than college, such as high school. I know there were a lot of things that I have had to teach myself, and continue to teach myself on a daily basis that I wish somebody had explained to me!

I think that would be a great idea. Like skills like this are very important, and far too many people have to learn about it the hard way.
